Combining formal training in massage, yoga, and meditation Ian has developed a heart-centered style of massage grounded in dynamic deep tissue healing. In addition to my comprehensive formal training at East West College in Portland, Ian deepened his knowledge base with extensive hands-on training in a wide range of settings around the world, including Egypt, Thailand, and India. In Egypt Ian travelled with an accomplished healer, immersed in the ancient energy of Egypt’s vast desert and numerous sacred sites. In Thailand Ian studied meditation at the Theravada Buddhist monastery Wat Tham Yai Prik, yoga at Agama and Pyramid Yoga Schools, and traditional Thai massage at the Loi Kroh and Sunshine Schools of Chiang Mai. In India Ian completed a 300 hour yoga teacher training at Yoga Vidya Gurukul. While in India Ian also studied Tibetan Buddhism and meditation at Tushita Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Center, and Vipassana meditation at the Dehradun Vipassana Center.
Each client Ian sees feels warmly welcome and truly cared for.
